Change of guidelines beginning July 12
Hello Church Family,
Let me begin by saying thank you for your prayers these past four weeks.  They were felt and greatly appreciated. Please do not stop.  I still have a ways to go.  I will keep you apprised as I learn more at my doctor appointments.

I know many of you saw where the governor mandated the wearing of masks indoors effective midnight, July 6.  The way we will address this new mandate as we gather for worship is as follows:

. Entering into the building, we ask you to wear a mask until you get to your seat.
.Once you are seated, and are safely distanced from others, if you so choose, you can take off the mask for the service.
.Once the service concludes, before you leave your seat, we would ask you to put your mask back on until you exit the buidling.
. We will continue to project the songs onto the screen to use as a time of reflection.
. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available in the foyer for your convenience.
. As before, Cody will wipe down all areas after everyone has left so as to sanitize and make safe the area for our next gathering.

I know some of us may not be particularly happy about these recommendations, but it is for our safety and our neighbors as we gather for worship.

If you feel comfortable gathering with these guidelines, please come. If not, please continue to meet us on Facebook Live each Sunday at 10:00. We need to stay connected best we can in these very strange times we are living.

In closing, our tithes and offerings have stayed steady. That is a testament of your support to the church. We are able to pay the bills and continue to support the community through outreach ministries.

Now, may the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you…”(Numbers 6:24)

Blessings,
Pastor Craig

It is a pleasure to introduce to you Northgate Baptist Church of Beckley, West Virginia. If you are looking for a friendly Bible believing church, we would consider it a joy and a privilege to have you come and worship with us.

Come as you are and enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Enjoy a sense of belonging where people care, listen and affirm one another. Experience enthusiastic worship and uplifting messages. Our worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary hymns.

During Sunday School and worship we provide nursery services. We also provide an extended worship service for children ages three through fifth grade.

Our goal is to be an Acts 1:8 church. What that means to us is that we are called to be on mission with God. We are to go where the people are and minister to them where they live, recreate, work and socialize.

If your heart's desire is to be a part of a church family that is mission focused and ready to do ministry utilizing creative means, then you will feel very much at home here.

What the Bible Says
About Prayer

"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." Matthew 26:41

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 19:19-20

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:22

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. " Mark 11:24-25
